I have been very busy the first few months of this year, so I am just getting around to updating my blog. Terrible, I know! Well anyways, there is alot to let you in on, so let's get started.
Bella passed her Therapy Dog International test! She is now a certified Therapy Dog! I was so excited and nervous the day of the test. I am so proud of her that she passed.
We have been on a few visits so far. On Friday March 13th, good day to start, she had her first two visits. We first went to Springhill Village for a petting zoo. She did excellent! To bad I cannot say the same for the out of control mastiff that also showed up. This dog was completely out of control and soon left after slipping out of its collar running wild. Bella layed there, completely behaved amongst the chaos.
The second visit was great! Our second visit was at Meadows Manor. We walked around visiting with all of the residents. She did awesome, although she was a little tiered at that point. Everyone there loved her and was very welcoming.
She also had another visit last Sunday at Meadows Manor. She did good, although I do need to work some on her pulling. She was pulling to much for me and I don't want it to become a bad habit. Other than that it was another great visit and everyone enjoyed her.
Now on to Foster...the poor boy got neutered on April 13th. The procedure went well and he recovered back to his old self. Although he is MUCH easier to deal with now that his jiblets are gone. Before he was starting to have a big attitude with us and was hard to live with. Now he is much more easygoing and enjoyable to be around. I am still not sure what I should do with him. I would like to do a frisbee or flyball class, I just need to make time for him to do it.
We have started hiking! I look forward to hiking more this summer with the dogs. Although I hope we don't get eaten alive by these mutant mosquitos!

"In the Vibe Bout Now"
For those of you that do not know I did get a new car last October and am in LOVE! It is a 2009 Pontiac Vibe or otherwise known as the shaggy waggon. The temp got over 30 yesterday so I decided to clean it out. It really astonishes me how much dog hair can accumulate in my car with the two furballs going to work with me almost every day. This car is really great though for hauling the dogs (people too, I guess) and gets around 30 mpg. I love having power windows and locks, especially with the dogs it makes things easier. I will try to get some pictures of mine soon!

New Year = MUD!?!
Well it rained and rained right before New Years, plus all of the previous snow had melted. The mess outside is terrible and the puppies are paying because of it with limited outdoors time. Then in turn, they are driving us nuts...
Let me introduce you to what we are dealing with:
Foster - Camelot's Dark Foster Lager
Foster is our first fur child, he was born October 12th 2009. He is the most headstrong dog I have ever had with a cocky attitude to boot. Him and I get into it from time to time, but I still love him all the same. Tim and his ball are his two true loves. He is a hell of a guard dog, there is a good reason we have that sign by our driveway. He is the most handsome shepherd I have ever had.
Bella - Bluff's Silver Bella
Bella is the second fur kid and she was born February 24th 2010. Bella is my lover dog! I really wanted a sweet dog that could potentially be a visiting dog for hospital settings and I believe she will do a great job. When we first got her, Tim swore she was dumber than a box of rocks, but she has proved us wrong. You can't expect her to learn a trick in 10 min like Foster, but eventually she will get it. She is such a loving and sweet dog. Did I mention she is kinda big too??

They do keep us busy though and we treat them like children. That means they have rules, boundaries and must respect us, just like you would expect a kid too right? They get plenty of treats, the best food money can buy, warm place to sleep, get to go to daycare and love to go hiking with us.
Please don't get the impression that we are those people that have crazy wild out of control spoiled dogs, I always say that will never be me.
They are so much fun though and I wouldn't trade either of them for anything...
